Guerrilla Marketing

Watch the video below from The Wall Street Journal about companies using innovative marketing and public relations tactics with great success. Notice you don't hear the word "journalist" once. A variety of companies demonstrate that sometimes guerrilla marketing - or low-cost, high-creativity marketing tactics - can have more influence over your target audience than a standard ad buy or newspaper article. Just remember that communications activities are no substitute for a communications strategy. Take the time to determine whether guerilla marketing can truly help you define your organization's reputation. If the answer is yes, think about how it fits into your larger communications strategy.
